Beasts of Burden
Concept collection developed in 2016 as my BFA thesis. This work explores versatile outerwear with soft draping and quilting. It remains a strong precursor to my current creative direction. It highlights early experimentation with selvedge denim, nylons, waxed cottons, and Japanese trims which continue to inform my professional work in streetwear and outerwear. Executed from concept to full collection including sourcing of materials, patternmaking, draping, and sewing.
